Black listed???

Okay I have to ask... have any other new grads been having difficulty getting a job at Providence or Alaska Native. I have passed my NCLEX and am ready to work and no one will hire me... I cant even get HR to call me back most of the time! I applied for internships at both hospitals and am having no luck... any advice from someone who has made it past HR????

Default Re: Black listed???
In order for you to be blacklisted there has to be a reason. Just because you are a new grad does not mean you are being blacklisted, unless there is something in your background that is surfacing and causing employers to avoid you like the plague. It sounds as if you are in an area with limited opportunities. You may have to do what others in your situation have done to get a job. Most likely that will involve getting work in a long term care facility or relocating. Good luck.
