Is AK recruiting LPN's.....................

wondering if anyone could give me any info if there is a need for LPN's...an ACTIVE need,
up in alaska....anchorage, fairbanks...or yukon..

I am an LPN in Anchorage. I have not worked as an LPN, as I went directly into the RN bridge program, but my fellow LPN graduate students had no problem finding local jobs. There are many jobs available in doctors offices and LTC. Most of the big hospitals are looking for RNs though.

I graduated from the UAA program. It's VERY competitive but a great program. Like earlier said, offices and LTC's will hire LPN's here but not the hospitals. You have to be a RN. Good luck!
