question/advice:army nurse transition program

U.S.A. Alabama

Hi,

I am a newly graduated nurse, and I applied for the Nurse Transition Program in the Air Force. When I talked to my recruiter initially about joining, she told me that the Air Force Board committee will meet in November of this year. However, the schedule for the board meeting changed several times and now it has been pushed to July of next year. I really want to go into the Air Force, however, its a long wait and I am looking for other options. I was looking into the Army nurse transition program and i wanted to know more about it from nurses who went through with this program. Also i wanted to ask for your advice on whether i should wait until July to find out if i get selected for the NTP in the Air Force, but if i do that i would have more than 6 months of experience and from what i was informed if i have more than 6 months of experience as a nurse i am not qualified for the NTP in the air force, or if I should check to see if the dates for the ARMY NTP is sooner than the Air Force? Thank You!
