Herzing College??

Wow! I just called Herzing and I was told that info is not given over the phone. I would have to go to Alabama for a nursing meeting. But I was told that there are no pre reqs required. They are all included in the program and it's a 12 month program. All I wanted to know was info on the cost, when are apps. accepted, when do classes begin... you know typical questions. If anyone knows any information please let me know. Although I live in Atlanta I may consider commuting it's only 2 hrs from my house. I just don't want to have to wait another year before I get into any other program.

The only classes they will accept for transfer is ap1 English and math. Which will make your tuition around 3,000 the first quarter. Second quarter and third quarter won't allow in transferred classes which will bring you to about 7,500 and 8,000 respectively. It's a extremely high program for a profession Thats being phased out by medical assistants in doctors offices, hospitals and such. Not saying you WON'T find a job- I currently have a friend that's a lpn at American family care- but he graduated like 3 years ago. And I know this to be fact because I actually wa going to do the program- got accepted and everything- but that finacial aid meeting changed my mind! My mom makes to much for me to qualify for any grants so I was straight loan. Plus you have to be careful with Herzing. Alot of people don't know that with both Herzing an Virginia college you max out your student loans- meaning if you decide to get your BSN after getting your rn- that will be coming straight out your pocket!
