anybody gotten in at bevill??

it doesn't seem to be talked about alot on here??

i got my letter a while back... and go to orientation monday :D

i am very excited, never thought the day would get here!!

I agree Bevill doesn't seem to be discussed much on this board at all. CONGRATS to the both of you for getting in the program. I have two friends who applied this semester and did not get in. So I guess it is still quite difficult to get into. I know it was a few years ago. Who are the instructors now at the Sumiton campus?

Do they go by a point system like Jeff State? If so, what was the cut off and what courses are consider for the points? Just wondering b/c we're thinking of moving to Jasper in the next year to be closer to family. :yeah:

yes as of the fall semester they were on the points system and I don't know of any talk of them not being... I am thinking I got in with 158? I say "I think" because I don't know if my final transcripts were added or not?? If not it would have been like 138?? they never told me my points... but from what I added myself that is it...

I was happy at orientation, the class seems to be small which I think I will do better with, I do know the one change that will be in affect for Spring 2010 will be the math you will have to have math 100 and not math 116... Math 116 is no longer going to be accepted in all of Alabama from my understanding???

Do you know where I can find their point system information? Jeff State has a link on their page but I couldn't find one for Bevill. :(

I do not believe there is one on their website? I have never found one... unless it it in the PDF files in the nursing student packets on there? you might try calling them they have always been very helpful to me when I have called... 2056483271 is the sumiton number. Good luck!!
