    Hi All Nurses,

    I am interested in volunteering at a hospital. I am about to work on my prerequisites to get into nursing school and I want to work at a hospital to see if I would like it. How would I go about volunteering?

    Each hospital should have a webpage with a volunteer section to it.

    I know Children's Hospital of Alabama has a organized volunteer program. My D talked with them about this program last spring but missed the deadline for applying. She may look into it this summer. Check their website under the volunteer tab.
