I am hoping to take a CNA certification class soon so that I can work on the weekends with Home Health Care Services. I work full time M-F 8-5 and am looking to start working as a CNA (for exp. and extra money on the weekends) prior to quitting my full time job to go to nursing school next fall. Problem is I would need to take the certification classes/course on the weekends. Any help ?

Before you go and spend money on taking a CNA course, I believe some nursing homes will actually train you on the job. Someone mentioned South Haven in the Hoover/Vestavia area (B'ham). You might want to call around before you commit to a program. Good Luck!
