Official Jeff State/Wallace Spring 10' thread

I actually got my student loam stuff done.. By fasfa; both schools. Still waiting on my award letter from jeff state. I'm so anxious to get home everyday from work to check the mail! I really hope we get them by the end of next week! I'm about to go crazy LOL! I have everything except an acceptance letter..... Praying really hard!!!!

I got into BOTH schools!!! I will turn down wallace tomorrow and accept jeff state! I'm so excited! There isnt much info in the jeff state packet, hope they are able to cover everything in the 2 hours they say they will! Does anybody have any advice for jeff state orientation?

Not to be the bearer of bad news but I have quite a few reliable friends who are fgoing thru jeff state and they are all saying run the other way. I personally have nothing against Jeffstate but I've been told that Wallace is absolutely better. One of my friends said u better know your calculations like yesterday because u want be taught but thrown at the board and u better know the answer. Secondly, my other friend says she is constantly on Your knees praying to God.

The thing is I live 15 minutes from jeff state and an hour and a 1/2 from Wallace. I hear people that say all different things. I just know that if I'm not working and I work my butt off I should be ok. Hospitals think highly upon jeff state. I would love to go to Wallace but it is just so far away! I live in Chelsea and 280 and 65 is crazy in the mornings, It would probably take me like 2 1/2 hours to get there! LOL

pharmacology teaches calculations so I done understand that one. Oh well.... I don't know...

I go to Wallace State now and I live an hour from it and 10 minutes from Jeff State. I have to say it is worth the drive! I'm glad you got into both schools Cadnac but I will pray for you because Jeff State is NO JOKE!! Look at the ABN website and look at the score for the past rates! Just try your best and remain focused! There will be a lot of tears shed. I know personnally because I haven't seen so many people cry until I got into the nursing program. Get ready for it.

Jazzyjoy we should talk i just got accepted to Wallace RN program for spring and I really want to know what to really expect I knos it's going to be tough. I just want some type of insight. I live here in birminghsm and I'm anhoud away as well indeed I live 15 min from Jeffstate but I wasn't feeling Jeffstate i took all of my classes there but I refuse to give that crappy school anymore of my money.

jazzyjoy where do you live in bham?? Maybe Wallace wouldn't be so bad if I carpooled... Yall I'm so scared I'm gonna make the wrong decision!

jazzyjoy do you know anyone who goes to jeff state?? Or did you go there???
