Changing states...how do I get a license

I currently have a Missouri RN license. If we move to Iowa, what do I need to do to get it switched to an Iowa license? What if I want to keep my license in Missouri as well?

All the information you need should be on the Iowa BON website. There is a link at the bottom of every page here, under the "Need Help" heading, that provides contact information and links to all the US state BONs. When you go to the Iowa BON website, you are looking for information on "licensure by endorsement."

Licensure in another state will not affect your MO license -- you will still have it, and it will remain active until its renewal date (you can decide at that time to either let it lapse, or renew it and keep it active).
