california taxes working registry

  1. 0 Is it better to file a 1099 or just use a w4 when doing registry? Im trying to understand

    Hello,

    Im going through the same dilemma....Yes you initial get more money but paying taxes can be costly later...also with w4 the employer has to pay 1/2 of medicare taxes...if you file as independent contractor..you need to pay all of it yourself...
