Agency opinions

Just wanted to know if anyone works for PSA as a private duty nurse. What are your thoughts about this agency?

In my area they have a poor reputation. Known to hire people right out of school with no peds experience. I'm sorry, but peds is not the specialty to go into with absolutely no experience.

Spoke to them once, was not impressed. I have peds experience and vent/trach experience, so I was not impressed with pay offered. I agree that peds is not an area to work in without experience. Kids are small adults, but are not/should not be treated as such. Good luck.

I worked with PSA for close to 10 years as an LPN, that is until.... I got my notice in the mail saying that they would be terminating all LPN's .

That's strange. I got recruitment ads in the mail more than once from PSA and the last time I looked, my license didn't say RN! Have to say that rates right up there for sleaziness!
