any advice/suggestions on how a new grad can break into this profession? I know there are
$2-3k certs that I can take but this won't guarantee me a job ;(
Any good words or suggestions for me?

Dec 3, '12 by calinursestudent818I live in LA and I'm interested too since PS is really prevalent in LA. I have a friend who is a new grad RN who just got hired at a plastic surgeons office. She said that a handful of places just wanted her to be a licensed RN & trained on the job. So I'd start looking at different PS offices in Beverly Hills or near you & just ask what their RN hiring requirements are.
