VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application

Nurses out there. i asked this question a week ago. i want to know if vermont still need to have VISA SCREEN in order for us to apply a reciprocity/endorsement? haven't applied the visa screen yet. and i want to apply in vermont. i don't want to retake nclex again. hope anyone could answer me. my nclex is about to expire. tia :)

What does it say on their website? It will indicate there if vsc is acceptable.

it says that one of their requirements is an English language proficiency report? what does this mean? ielts result? or vsc?

As I read the VT website you are required to get a Vermont specific CES report from either CGFNS or IERF.

If the board requires English language report then you are looking at IELTS or other acceptable English exam. If you have taken exam already then you need to arrange results sent from company to appropriate body depending if you are doing CGFNS or IERF. If you go CGFNS and they already have a copy of English exam for vsc then they will use that copy as long as in date (usually valid for 2 years)

Hi nurses.:) I just received an email from Vermont State that my RN license is in the mail already. Is it a hard copy? as in a card type of license? or just in paper?. I saw some query here about that but wasn't answered. Thanks for your help in advance.:)

Vermont RN license is in one-page short bond paper. Not the usual card-type license. That is because license verification can be done through nursys website anyway.

Can anyone help me? i intend to get licensed in Vermont since the California BRN has already issued a statement that they will no longer extend validities of pass letters effective, if i'm not mistaken, april 10 or 30, 2010...
i'm wondering, since i already have a VisaScreen certificate, do i need to apply for a CES again?... the process seem redundant since the CES will be requiring me to submit credentials which are exactly the same as the ones required for my VisaScreen...
i just want to know if anyone has been in the same situation and what they did... and how long did it take to get licensed in Vermont?... :confused:although i totally get the California BRN's move, i still would not want to have my NCLEX go to waste...
pleeease help anyone?

Hello, we are on the ship. It's my problem also, worse is, my NCLEX Pass letter already expired last year of July (2011). Am I still eligible to endorse it to VT and undergo the process posted in the thread? How's your case? Did u already receive your VT License? Pls guys, I need your responses so badly..

can i still apply for this endorsement if even though my NCLEX CA pass letter validity already lapsed last year of July (2011)? pls help me, i;m really troubled. Like many posts here, I am praying that i would not be obliged to re-take NCLEX for that matter. thhanks in advance.
