What do I need to do ? I'm totally lost ...

My partner lives in Florida ... Am just newly qualified in the UK ... We are planning marriage but what else do I need to do? Any advice would be appreciated ... I have done a common foundation year that encompassed mental health and mother and baby

There are many info you need to go through, you need to get a licence in Florida. So you need to get a credential evaluation done through cgfns, you then need to apply to Florida board if nursing for registration with them for a licence, you will need to pass the nclex as part of the licensing process. There are some CE requirements to complete for Florida prevention of medical errors HIV/aids and domestic violence. These can all be taken online You will then need to gain a visa, I am guessing you want to do this via your partner - you will need to be married or getting married within 90 days of landing on American soil. You will have to check processing time I am not sure of these.

Thank you so much for replying :)

What status is your boyfriend in the US? Is he a citizen? PR or something else? That will have a impact on route you take. Generally Adult trained doesn't meet US requirements unless your transcripts show hours in Paeds, Mental Health, Obstetric as well as Adult and there is no courses in the UK that tops up
