TN visa with ADN

Hi All,

I am planning on applying for TN status next week as I have received a job offer in the U.S. I was educated in the states and have an Associates degree. I contacted the U.S. border and an officer told me I may have problems because I don't have a BSN and a Canadian RN license. I'm currently working on an online RN-BSN and really need some experience to even be eligible to work as a nurse in Canada. I'm not sure how accurate this information is since the officer said the NAFTA visas were not his specialty. I know there are nurses on here that have had TN visas successfully processed with an associates degree. I hope this hasn't changed recently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
