I applied for NCLEX via the Vermont Board of Nursing. Do they issue the license card even if you have no SS number yet?

hellosuzanne mentioned that if you did take the exam, you must give ur license number, or it does not count...but some of my friends say that it is possible to-write a letter why no license#-photocopy the claim slip for the local license-attach a certification from the prc that you passed the board exam.i would just like to clear things, or if not confirm with the vt bon?thats all thanks

try to click "foreign nurses: foreign nurse applications" in the upper portion of the webpage. http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/
it's the one above "practitioners: nancy morin - (with phone number).
when you click it, it will lead you to log in yahoo mail and to compose a message with the email address of the bon appearing there (specifically for foreign nurse applications).
when you receive info from the bon regarding your query, i hope you can share it here with us too.
goodluck!

hmm i couldn't find her name, ut i did try to email yesterday, but it was email delivery failure. but thnx for ur help
i emailed last week the VT BON asking if they can accept the certificate of passing the NLE in lieu of a license card. unfortunately, still no answer yet.
i'll post it here when i get any feedback from them.
Ther's an agency here that have tried to just get a certificate of prc that you've passed with ur license number in lieu of a license card. though i dont want to commit any risks with VT BON...

for the millionith time,
until the mess is cleared up there in terms of the exam, there is no license being issued, and the prc cannot even give out verification that you passed the exam. since there were also questions thrown out that could have caused somene to fail.
i would not trust one thing that an agency is trying to do there. it will come back to bite you big time later on.
no state is going to base anything on that piece of paper that you have from the prc, it is useless over here.
you may do what you want, but please do not ask for my help when it gets you into trouble. and it could jkeep you from ever working in the us. take the time to retest and do things properly.
of all of the facilities that i have been in contact around the us with, not one is willing to chance anything until the nurse retakes the exam. right now, the exam is considered essentially invalid overhere.
your choice of what to do. but consider doing things the legal way. results of this june exam, essentially do nto exist. you will have a cloud over your head for the next five years if you do not retest.
something else to think about:
nclex exam will not be held in philippines. official word is out today.
due to rampant cheating with the nle exam, there have also been issues coming to the surface about cheating on the nclex and cgfns exam as well.
do things the right way.
And that agency is just concerned with selling you to the highest bidder, what we call slave traders here.
You want to go with them, and take a chance, please be my guest, but none of us her condone this type of behavior and it is not a viable option for any of you.
What you are failing to see, you sat for an exam that is considered tainted, if you do not clear your name, you are going to find issues with any decent employer wanting to employ you over here.
