Suzanne4,

hi! im new in this forum, just wanna ask bout NCLEX licensure in vermont.is it true that if you apply in vermont you dont need to have a CGFNS/CES evaluation? what states will you able to work at if you passed their NCLEx exam? do they have a reciprocity in other states? how long will it take me to process my application? is it true that it would only take vermont a month to process my application? please help...thanks..

ok, I got it! so, VT will be allowing 2 yrs to register, ok,good luck to your sister!

I am indeed very happy for that so now there will be no worries to submit my application early, thank you very much

I'm about to send my application to vermont state. In the application, it says there that the fee should be sent in draft? what does this mean? Does this mean money order or check? How am I going to send the fee since it doesn't have a credit card form?kindly help. Thanks a lot.

i agree with you but the original question was something about "required to register with pearson immediately once vt found the candidate eligible". my sis had similar concern when she got her eligibility and she e-mailed vt about it and the reply was.... she can register anytime to pearson for up to 2 years.

hi.i emailed vermont once but got no reply from them. can you tell me who to contact in vermont? email or phone number aside from the once given in the application. thanks a lot.

Hi, may I know where in the application that states that we can pay in draft? It is a demand draft that is issued by any bank. You can ask bpi, metrobank or your bank about this matter. Thank you very much.

you can purchase a dollar demand draft in PNB. tell the manager (the one who is in charge with drafts) that you will use it for a US exam. bring proof in case he asks. PNB allows it even if you are not a PNB depositor as long as the purpose is for a US exam. you can pay in pesos. there is a minimal bank fee depending on the amount in the draft. ask the manager for the exact amount that you need to pay before you decide.

the complete name of the intended payee and your name will appear on the face of the draft. processing time is fast if you go early. the draft is in US funds and will be drawn thru PNB branch in NY as shown on the face of the draft. Banks in other states will receive payment in US funds from the NY bank.

local banks (with US branch or with US correspondent banks) issue dollar demand draft (as the equivalent of the cashier's check) for US transactions. but most local banks accommodate only their depositors and may even ask that the draft be purchased in US dollars.

i hope this helps.

goodluck!

I passed the board but the PRC has not issued a professional License card yet...could a PRC certification of passing the board exam be accepted instead in my application for the VT state? Im afraid the release of the license number will take a while..:( does anyone know?
