I am just super curious. During the orientation they had this Feb19 yata, they gave us a leaflet names of new immigrants nila. They have engineers, managers, and of course, RNs. We can look them up online and ask for testimonials. Instinctively, I searched the internet for the Registered Nurses in their list. And I found zero results. Are those names only fictional???????

I am new here, just attended the orientation of PinoyCare last night at Gateway Mall. The things they presented last night were the same things/complaints I read on this site. I am actually on my way to their office in Quezon City to pay 20k, but I decided to check with POEA via online whether this pinoycare is registered or not. Luckily, I found allnurses.com. I am really confused now whether to push thru with pinoy care and take the risk, or NOT.
    Anyone, please advise. Thank you!

Guys what you have to remember is the forms can easily be completed by yourself and are found on the CIC website plus full instructions on how to complete them. Canada isn't as easy to get in these days so a lot will depend on which province you wish to live in and what the job situation is like. If coming via the Federal Silled Worker route well that cap is full for this year and no idea if nursing will be on the list when it comes out again in June

I also attended Pinoy Care's orientation last Sunday(feb 27,2011) at Gateway mall.. And i was moved by what they've presented. There are testimonials presented in videos and in person. They've presented clearly: fees, their program but no Q&A part.. I was about to pay for the down payment of 20K tomorrow, but i found this site and now I'm having second thoughts after reading the thread. I've consulted my cousin about this and she said to go through with pinoy care.. She's with another consulting firm (whom she doesn't recommend to me) right now and waiting for her medical notice, but it took her 2years to reach that stage.. Hay, any advise. Need it badly.

And another thing, I've checked POEA about A-MAX PHILIPPINES INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION, INC., and it's on the list. Meaning it's legal.

like said in my previous post, they are not fake but do not expect that everything they presented in their orientation is exactly what's going to happen. it took me 2 years also. i hired them for their service but the ones they promised were not done. if u want to know exactly what happened just review the posts.

they're not fake. they just don't hold up to their word which is what made you want to go with them in the first place.

like what silverdragon said, the process is too easy. why spend 45-75 thousand pesos for something u can do urself? and to think, it would be done faster than relying it on a consultancy firm that's taking care of a lot other applicants who has the same expectations as you do. I've met people who have been with them and we all have the same complaints.

if you want to go with them, I suggest u lessen ur expectations (lessen it a loooooot). that way you wouldn't get frustrated and regret the decision u made and the fact that you gave them that much amount just to get disappointed.

    good luck.

When did you apply to their assistance sir? I was bugged by what I've read in this forum yesterday so I called my cousin and asked about those things. She told me that when you apply in 2008 to early 2010, it will probably take you more than a year or worst, just like her, 2years to go through stage one. But when you apply now, its much faster.. And maybe because the firm I consulted to, caters many clients that's why they do it slow. She also added that around June or July the embassy will start accepting documents again.. She told me to go and see another firm to compare, and I'm going there this afternoon.

I'm really looking for a firm right now, can you recommend one for me? Or, are you against consulting a firm? By that, i mean all consultancy firms.

Honestly, reading these things was a burden since I've decided to go with them then suddenly bad comments popped up, that they like this, like that. Hard..

There is no guarantee that the doors will open in June when the new list is posted. There are many routes to uses to get to Canada and regardless on agency or doing it yourself the paperwork is the same and all information and forms can be found on the CIC website. The biggest issue I think is finding a employer willing to go the FSW route for PR as many Canadian nurses are struggling to find work, this is if you do not meet the criteria for FSW as 12 months work/paid experience is required.

I strongly suggest you read the CIC website
