Thanks for the information. And Im really sorry because Im really confused in this site, I dont know where to search the related thread. I have been browsing the New York threads and still cant find any topic related to this issue.

What are you looking for? When going through the CVS all you can do is complete application with CGFNS and wait. Once CGFNS have passed it on to the NY BON and you have completed and paid your application you will then get the OK to sit NCLEX. It is a long process and average take is over 7 month before you get ATT

Thanks. CGFNS is already reviewing my credentials. Is it advisable for me to review for nclex? I already enrolled in a review center here in the Phil and it started last week. I think its too soon for me to review.

you can start reviewing now for NCLEX, don't think you need to go to a review center to do it but if you have already paid. We have a great NCLEX forum in the student section where you will get plenty of help and support. It is up to you but looking atleast 8 months before you get ATT approx

I knew someone here in the Philiippines whose CVS just only took for 6 mos. I hope the same thing will happen to me hehe. Anyway thanks for the help and info.

good day to everybody!

CVS already sent my issued report. do you know how many weeks i have to wait for the eligibility?

and if i got my eligibility, i can register for the nclex-rn exam. is att given within minutes when registered online?

hi!

have you applied for their application form (form 1) if yes you have to count for at least 2-3 months before receiving their eligibility.

re: att , base on my case, after i registered at pearson, i've waited for 3 days, still no att so i decided to call NYBON, then after few minutes I received my att. (My friend waited for at least a month or 2, then she decided to call NYBON, then she got her att.)

ok. thank yo so much for the reply.

yes, i passed my application form long time ago.

is it ok if i follow-up on my application by calling them for faster processing?

I doubt they will process your file any faster than others, you will be in a queue and should wait. Not fair on others that are waiting also.

ive been reading abt nysed & cvs regarding this topic....

& has been itching to ask this;

re NY: correct me if i am wrong; nysed - cvs - nclex ?

i am planning to apply them both (cvs & nysed lic) at the same time, - will it be possible & wise to do so?

offtopic: will it be faster & better to apply for Ca lic(or other states such as vermont) then just apply for reciprocity to NY if i intend to work in NY?

If your intended state is NY then apply direct to them because even if you obtain your license with another state, do not go to CA and there is a sticky already explaining why not, and endorse you still need to follow requirements for foreign nurse so CVS. My initial application was with NY and I had no problems going through the process but NY process at the moment i anything from 6 months upwards before you get permission to sit NCLEX
