NVC -CP- GC Tracker

World Immigration

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

"and if one takes the time to notice, the only one that has posted here in quite sometime that they have received their visa is only one person. sure, there are visas available, but only if one has a completed file and their pd date is old enough and they meet the other requirements."

opinion:

yes we are certainly aware that one can receive his packet4 only and if his pd is current, and case completed. one can clearly notice that almost all bloggers following this specific thread are already documentarily qualified and we are just awaiting for our pds to be current. that is precisely the reason why we are here. another point to raise, quite off topic but need to say this just to be fair. yes as can be observe, only pretty neirelle had posted in this forum about her goodnews and i personally thank her with all my heart for deciding to share it in this thread. if you happen to visit other blogs, then you can say that there are also others who had been blessed to be alloted with a visa last month, i also have known some few friends with pds earlier than mine who successfully obtained their immigrant visas without any problems. they chose not to share their success as they prefer to keep it privately or others are just not fond of participating in public forums like allnurses international forum. having said so, not only pretty neirelle had been given a visa last month. definitely not true.

"this is not happening frequently, and visas are normally released every three months, not monthly. it then becomes dependent on who they will be given to, but the us state dept releases them quarterly."

opinion:

yes visas are released by the us state department quarterly, not monthly.

but, consular processing is continous, monthly so long as visas are still available.

thanks for allowing me to share this. again, quite off-topic, but since youve post your message here, i'd rather share my opinion here as well. god bless you.

i love it! i absolutely looovvee it! :) :)

I would highly recommend that all of you read the post that was made to the other thread about the December Bulletin, it is by RNGrad2006 who happens to be in the US and is a foreign nurse.

It may open the eyes of many of you.

But again, this thread needs to stay to the topic that is being discussed or it is going to be closed.

very good nightingale's idol! :yeah: very well said :yeah::yeah::yeah:

and congrats by the way, i heard your papers are already at the embassy. goodluck! i hope ours will arrive soon:wink2:

hi guys! i bet your so ecxited for the december visa bulletin....:D anywayz i was about to leave for canada last month to take the canadin Rn exm, but my agency in the U.S gave me some light ragarding my descision. They said that if i were to leave for canada and work there as a Canadian Rn and sign up for a 2 year contract then it would be really too long for them. though my pD is june 2007 and its a bit younger compared to you guys with older pds But.... the visa specialst had asured me that somthing good will happen in the coming months. maybe my pd will be current, or maybe vb bulletin will jump to 2008 or better yet vb will be current to all.

I have to admit that my hopes for the American dream was slowly fading away but when the Nov. bulletin came out a tiny bit of hope gave me some strenght to just wait it out here. I know 4 mos of movement isnt much... but still its a good sign.

Just be positive , let us be positive!!!!!!!!!!:redbeathe

Just be positive, think positive and the universe will provide it for you:redbeathe

Hello. Recommendation to read RNGRAD2006 post has been warmly welcomed. Thank you so great for all those members/moderators in here who've been such of great eye opener to nurses all this time, way before you'll gonna know it, our eyes are already wide open. Seems like birds of the same feathers, flock together. Again thank you.

Godbless to all aspiring US Immigrants. Let's pray that negative energies be washed away so DEC VB would bring goodnews to everybody.

There is nothing wrong with being optimistic about things. I totally agree that chances of getting here in the US are getting harder especially with the worldwide financial crisis and the increasing pool of nurses from different countries each year. But that does not mean there is no chance of coming here at all!

I understand that most of us here are well educated people. Nurses at that matter. Most of you would not just dream without considering the facts. By now, with all the information around you, all of you are pretty much aware of what is going on. If in case some of you will still dream of coming here in spite of the difficulties, then that is your call. Nobody has the right to tell you not to dream and take your chances.

As I have said in my other posts. Nobody in this forum is an immigration lawyer. Nobody knows if the situation will get better or not. Not even the president of the US, nor Barack, nor McCain, nor Biden nor Palin nor the best immigration lawyers around the world. Not even the Commissioner of USCIS. One can only have an opinion and predict but that is only how far it can go. So, DON'T STOP BELIEVING! and continue to consider your options.
