im not sure how to make a wink yet lol sorry, new....anyway yes please do find out, i did research and it's suppose to be an agency linked with "panay" (some kind of a group).... my contact in there claims she sent people from bacolod, isabela, etc to norway after teaching them the language, the language lessons cost 50-60k for 6 months of language lessons... she'll process your autorisation/licensure for you, while her husband in norway helps you find an employer..

p.s...i asked if i can be qualified even though i lacked hospital experience since i worked on a different field and she said yes (do norway employers accept that?)

thanks!!!

hm.... this sounds a bit suspicious i must admit... be careful! the only engineer-agency with name fino i could find in norway, has nothing to do with nursing... they sell electronics and things to the household!!!! check out the website: www.finotrading.no i couldn't find any other companies who claims they give jobs to nurses in norway. where did you find the information about fino?

are you a rn-bsn? where are you from? :)

It's nurses in the Phillipines asking these questions. Usually there is an "agency" in the Phillipines promising work in exchange for cash payments to expedite their move to whatever country the agency thinks will hire nurses who often have no experience.

Canada was the destination of choice for a few years because the US has curtailed migration there. Then it was Australia. Looks like Norway is now the destination of choice.

check http://www.safh.no for Licensing

check http://www.udi.no for immigration

and find a relative or a friend in Norway that could accommodate you once the SAFH finds you eligible to be an RN (which is most likely difficult because you need to do a bridging program)

most importantly.... Norwegian Language is a MUST. ;)

Hi there Wyndz! Congratulations on your Auxillary Nurse License! I am from Stavanger too maybe I know your teacher ;) I am not sure what the basic means. But if you can communicate with a local like you do everyday on english to an english speaking person, you will be fine :) Also the thing about you have to watch out is that, if you are going to those areas in Norway that still speaks Nynorsk, you will have some difficulties communicating. And most of the Axillary Nurses works at gamle hjem. The old people speaks more nynorsk than bokmaal. Oslo area speaks bokmaal. But dont worry, (as I have experienced) Norwegian are very helpful with regards to teaching you their language. You will learn alot in Norway. Norsk klass are free for immigrants. I dont know how much they pay if their non immigrants. Do you have a friend or family who is in Norway?

Helsefagarbeider... I think that is also known as the Omsorgsabeider. They are equal to Nursing Aids in other countries. Did you apply specifically for this license or Hjelpepleier license???? I am confused because you said axulliary nurse :(

All my papers and application was fill-up by my teacher. I thought, she applied us as an auxilliary nurse. As what she said to us, but i just found out that i got autorisasjon for helsefagarbeider...so it means that i can only apply in nursing homes not in hospital?... Maybe because i have a little experience in nursing field.. does it matter?...:crying2: does autorisasjon expired?... thanks again...

Hi. There are helsefagarbeidere that works on hospitals too, but the competetion is very high. And most ends up as janitors. Better apply at a sykehem or gamlehjem. You can actually apply for a tourist visa/JOb seekers visa if you know anyone over there who will take you or accomodate you for 3 months. Major cities have more opportunities of course. I am sorry but I find it weird. If you applied for as a hjelpepeier, the answer would either be a yes or no and not a license like lower rank helsefagarbeider. You must have applied as a helsefagarbeider. RNs in the philippines are equivalent to a Hjelpepleier in Norway.
