Hi all!

I recently passed my NCLEX - RN (California), and it was clearly stated they will destroy your file three years after, if you don't supply them SSN. Can somebody please give me an advice on what to do with my NCLEX results? You still need to have SSN even if you already have a visascreen, is that right? thanks guys.

That is something you will have to ask the BRN, some members have had problems and then others haven't

i can't contact the CABON. I'm an immigrany and my basic question is "CABON NCLEX-RN requires a local license?

As I said before this is something you have to discuss with the BRN, We have had some members have an issue and others that haven't, you just can not predict. You can however not submit an application anymore with CA if you have not got a SSN

thanks, but i can't contact CABON. do you have any idea?

i already have my SSN.

If you can't contact the BRN then all you can do is wait for them to assess your application

Generally speaking if you are already a US Citizen, the local license requirement is waived.

However, this only works if you are made ineligible to take the local license in the country of origin.

As Silverdragon said, it is best to ask the evaluation group.

Also, please note the difference between being an SSN-bearing resident and being a US Citizen.

This is the defining point according to all of the state board evaluators that I have talked to, not just CA.

Residents must still provide local license, Citizens do not (usually).
