Just wondering what is the longest anyone has had to wait for I-140 approval?

My history:

joined OGP june 2004

Job offer St Joes phoenix aug 2004

NCLEX pass march 2005

filed for I-140 may 2005

Still waiting:stone

Now I have been told it will be November at least before I travel to US:crying2:

I think I should be in the record books or is there someone out there with the same problem:imbar

I know were supposed to take processing dates with a pinch of salt but Vermont has changes now to July

Have now applied for an Arizona license and a temporary one as well, not sure why but I'm sure OGP have a good rational:confused:

the date move gives us all a bit of hope, i know we shouldnt take much notice suzanne but you just cant help it!

why have ogp made you apply for a temporary licence aswell, that seems abit strange

Have no idea why I had to apply for a temporary license as well as a full one. The agency must have a reason, the only thing I can think of is the November travel date is not set in stone.

im not convinced our receipt date is when they say it is, to be honest, especially as you passed nclex way before i did and our are stuck together, especially as others who have filed after us have recieved theirs!

like you I don't believe they filed in May when they say they did, I feel it's more like Oct-Nov they filed and thats why now there saying possibly 6 weeks to receive I-140. We will soon see when eventually the I-140 arrives.

it does make you wonder....

i wonder if the filing date will be on the I140, or if we will ever get to actually see it?

Got e-mail notification from USCIS this morning that my I140 was approved on 1st March :smiley_aa

Passed NCLEX at the end of April - my paperwork went in to Vermont in August (don't ask why), so all in all, it been a remarkably speedy process :o :nono:

Bring on the NVC. I suppose we could be looking at a very hot August in the Valley??

Cheers
