Im planning to apply for NSW as well. Im presently waiting for my IELTS result and once i passed, ill be pursuing my application. thanks for the help. is the thread starter still active in the forum?
Hi there astromikaelo! No word fro NSW-NMB yet. Actually I rang them about 3 weeks ago to inquire if they have received my IELTS result and Good Standing from PRC. Everything's with them, they said, but warned me that assessments now may take up to 6 months. Maybe I'll follow-up again after about a couple of months. Don't want them to get irritated

Unfortunately the poster who started this thread is no longer 'active' and has not responded to any of my PMs. So I guess it's just up to us to keep this thread breathing

Good luck and God bless on your application! Let's keep each other posted

Hi there! I saw from your previous post that you paid thru credit card. Do you need to have a balance in Australian dollars or the Board of Nursing will be the one converting the payment from Philippine pesos to their currency? Thank you so much!

All state boards are included in the national registration scheme, but it hasn't been implemented yet.

Hi mooh sorry for the late reply. You don't need to have a balance in AUD, they'll just automatically charge you the amount in $ then the amount in PHP will just reflect on your billing statement from the bank.

Any ideas when the national registration will be implemented?

I didn't apply for Australia last year since I still haven't got my license card (i just got it last December) and I don't want to be squeezed in the middle of the national registration, thinking it would delay my application more.
