I applied more than a year ago, and I don't remember asking my state BON or my school to send documents directly to them. There are less requirements for modified assessment. Most of them are just certified copies.

Just a tip. When you have your original copies certified, please have 2-3 copies certified as well. You can use those copies for immigration, employment, university admission, etc.

to make it clear are the following are the only requirement for ANMAC modified skills assessment: (making sure before I sent my papers to ANMAC)

1) cover letter (Obatined thru email from ANMAC after paying online) with signature and attested photo by notary public.

2) certified true copy passport - 1st page only

3) certified true copy IRON-IHNA and 3 certificates (BLS, manual handling and medication safety; I finished in IHNA last 24 April 2014).

4) certified true copy PRC License, Board cert and board rating;

5) Professional reference letters- Originals ( my experience is less than 3 years and in different hospitals. Am I allowed to pass only one, which is the longest among my work experience- 2 years in a private hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?- takes time for this to arrived) Or is there a need for me to pass my three professional ref letters- other 2 which just 3 months in Philippines and 5 months abroad.)

6) certified true copies of certficate of employment from HR

7) certified true copy AHPRA Certificate

8) certified true copy current Australian visa (subclass 600)

9) printed official receipt of payment (to be sent thru email)

10) current certified true copy of Australian NPC

11) current certified true copy of NBI (Philippines)

And avail AHPRA for good standing to be sent directly to ANMAC- Canberrra.

Unless ANMAC changed its rules, I don't remember sending AHPRA a certified copy of my NBI clearance or an AFP police checks. And I think there's a form that you have to fill out from AHPRA for them to send your registration detail to ANMAC.

Regarding your work history, it is not necessary for you to submit them to ANMAC (unless it's required now). When I applied, there was an option whether you want your experience to be assessed or not. I had less than 3 years work experience when I applied for my PR so it's not even worth it if I had opt for its assessment since it will not give me points anyway.

If I were to base it on the ANMAC checklist, I'm very certain that I don't have to turn in any police certificates for the modified assessment. It also doesn't say I'd have to include a copy of my visa or even my previous certificate of employment. Where did you get your information from b_cell??

This is also what I thought, but my friend who is now an Aussie-RN (use to be Filipino), told me back in 2011 she passed all of these just to make sure she will get the approval from ANMAC. I even confirmed if what she avail is the ANMAC Modified skills assessment. I've told what I read and understood after reading the checklist at the anmac website for modified skills assessment. Anyways, I appreciate your reply. Because I was confused after receiving replies from her regarding modified skills assessment for ANMAC.

Good day!

What is the form called which I have to fill out from AHPRA for them to send the required documents to ANMAC?

I appreciate an early response to my concerns. Thank you once again.

It should be the "request for issue of certificate of registration status", which you can find here:

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Common Application Forms

please read the international page of ANMAC, all the information are in there.

Hi.. quick question regarding filing for TFN, can I apply for TFN even if I'm currently under Subclass visa 600 (no work rights)?

What's the point of having a TFN if you don't have work rights anyway? If you don't have work rights, I don't think you're eligible. See this:

The reason why I am asking is that it's one of the requirement I needed to provide to employer I found willing to sponsor working visa..

You wouldn't need a TFN unless you are employed, and they won't ask for it nevertheless.

Thanks for your direct answer. That's the answer I got when I signed the contract. Apparently, TFN can be applied once the working visa is approved. I was confused before I asked this question because some of my friends say I can apply, whereas, it's different from ATO site. I did a research before I asked a question so when I didn't get the answer I'm looking for, I made inquiry in this helpful site. Thanks again pogzRN. :-)

you can apply for a TFN even if you are not employed yet. i applied for it once i started my bridging program and got it even before it ended.
