yes, we may have different interpretations when filling up forms. tho that's what i answered and i have obtained my visa already.

Did you do medicals, just out of interest? Was that for the old business visa?

glad to be of help. although those are just insights into what i deem may be the best answer. you'll still have the last say when filling out your application, that's a risk we take by 'doing it by ourselves'. best of luck!

Yes, You are right. This is the risk that I have to face. Not only am I risking the Application form answers, I am also risking the affidavit of support. I sure wish the Australian Embassy could answer questions as clearly as you guys. Whenever we call VIA center, they would answer us vaguely.

what concerns do you have with the affidavit of support? Your lawyer would know what to put/write in the affidavit. all you need to do is to provide evidence (bank statement or income tax return copy of the person supporting you) affirming that indeed the person may be able to support your financial needs when in australia.. i believe the via center assists only with queries pertaining to filing your application and the like, but with regard to queries for appropriate answers in the forms those shall be on the applicant's lookout.

My financier is my dad's aunt's husband. We have heard that you need to prove your connection to your financier. The lawyer just wrote in the affidavit of support that the financier is my grandfather....So right now, we are looking for a way to prove he is indeed related to us by marriage. To make the story short, I'll just submit my documents today and see if via will advice against continuing with the application even if there is no proof of relation.....hoping for a good outcome.

Hi!

I had my medical exam last April 4. When would i possibly receive a feedback that my medical clearance documentation were successfully received by the embassy?

Am I supposed to make a follow up through via centre?

Or should i wait a little more for their feedback?

THank you!

The embassy will not notify if they have received your medical result. Nationwide (this is where I had my medicals), told me to make follow ups to the embassy after 2 weeks from medical, but I wasn't able to do so because my visa has arrived. You can track your application online through the via website.

My friend once told me that the visa will be up for 6 weeks. Maybe there are medical issues to be assessed by them. How many weeks is it now jems if i may ask.
