Immigration Requirements for Australia and New Zealand

For those who asked about my ticket, i booked at PAL but i had to cancel it yesterday because my bridging program was rescheduled, so my flight was moved (in an earlier date) and in a different airline now. To those who will have their BP in January, you need to buy your tickets now because flights bound for Australia are fully booked.

Hi annie. Im bound for ETEA on January too. The class will commence on Jan 9. I cant send you a pm. Im still waiting for my visa, but then I want to book my flight as early as now. My problem is can I book a flight a week earlier before the date of the validity of my visa? Thanks in advance

Hi rjoi25! I am for Jan. 9 too. So were gonna be classmates?? How long have you been waiting for your visa? Nope, you cannot book a flight if you don't have a valid visa upon departure for Australia or else, our Immigration will not allow you to leave. But, you can book a flight a week before the bp starts. I booked a flight for Jan. 5, 2013 and will arrive in Australia the next day. I have 2 hrs lay over in Kuala Lumpur. By the way, PAL flights bound for Melbourne are fully booked now.

Yes! ETEA had their accreditation extended until January 2013.. :)

Only just in time....hope they have got and okay reputation with the hospitals, there is something wrong, or has happened.!!

Hope those going with ACFE, still nothing there, since september.

I think so, because iv heard some students from etea easily got their jobs. It still depends on the applicant.. The hospital will still rely on your hospital experiences.

I do not think anyone is getting jobs easy now, especially those with only 12 months experience and a break of more than 1 year .There is a strong push I heard for locals and the govt has cut down on sponsorship visa's. Only those that have much experience and recent in a specialty are employers are supposed to be given rights to apply for giving sponsorship boss's. This came from a family friend who is married to immi officer.

I do not think anyone is getting jobs easy now, especially those with only 12 months experience and a break of more than 1 year .There is a strong push I heard for locals and the govt has cut down on sponsorship visa's. Only those that have much experience and recent in a specialty are employers are supposed to be given rights to apply for giving sponsorship boss's. Yes, I'm still working in the hospital right now, assigned in the post anesthesia care unit in the operating room complex.. Im the senior nurse next to my head nurse and I'm glad about the news that Australia is specific about work experiences.. I just hope i wont have hard time looking for jobs there.. My last day will be this dec.23 and my flight to OZ will be Jan.5.. Haha! :)
