Hi! I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines. I really decided to join this website because I have so many questions in mind that is bothering me right at this moment. This is regarding my plans of working in Illinois. I will be taking the CGFNS exam this July. In God's grace to pass, I'm planning to take IELTS exam and apply for an NCLEX examination. I would just like to ask an advice from you if what exam should I take first? Is it the IELTS or apply first to NCLEX? And how many months does this application will be approved by the Illinois BON? Because I've heard from my friends that it will took us a couple of months for our application to be approved by the Illinois BON for us to take the NCLEX exam. Is it true? Thanks ahead for your reply... God bless!!!

hello! may i ask how long has it been since you submitted all the requirements to il?
also, how long did your ces report take to finish from the time you sent your forms to cgfns?
i applied to il and will be taking the nclex this coming june.. the processing in il is fast.. after a week of passing my application, they send me a letter telling me that my application was approved and they told me to register at pearsonvue... it only takes a week..
regarding ces, it took about less than 2mos before they forwarded the result to continental testing service..
take the toefl exam as a requirement in il bon...
if all the necesarry requirements are already there (application form, ces result, toefl result and fingerprint reciept), they will send you an acknowledgement letter...
goodluck and god bless...
