Filipino Div 1 RN in need of 457 visa sponsorship

I know Aussie employers that grant 457 visa sponsorship to nurses nowadays are rare. I am now aiming for a subclass 190 skilled nominated visa. In my search for a migration agent to assist me during the process, I came across an agency named Education Linkages Philippines, offering assistance in gaining not only a 457 but also permanent residency. There are a multitude of fees - as expected - but they seem legit. Has anyone here heard of them? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

If they are truly "legit", see how long they actually have been in business, ask for recent SUCCESSFUL Phils nurses as references that they were to place with all of their promises---ask to speak with them.

If this agency has been that good, they should have no problems to give you those bits of information. They should be glad to give you the contact information. Make sure you're talking to a AU number. Use your instincts to make sure this "nurse" is not an employee of this agency.

I don't care if they claim it's private, if it's confidential or some other lame "excuses, simply say in a nice but discreet way of "I guess you're not able to really help me as you so claim etc", if they can't give you the direct contact information. Referrals builds businesses.

I don't care if they have flashy ads, proven testimonials on their website or print ad, you need to talk to this nurses they claimed to have gotten their promises made.

Back to your question, as you can tell I don't anything of this agency, but there's so many new (and old) ones still working their scam or popping up every day, just do your own investigation.....ask, ask, ask (like you did here).

But you do need to speak with several triumphant nurses that are already working in AU thanks to their help.

If someone here does claim they are legit, make sure they have been a poster for a while (by join date and number of postings, not like it's their 1st or 2nd posting) or their previous postings seem to be genuine.

Thanks for your advice! It was very enlightening :) I've actually tried stalking their alleged successful applicants on Facebook, to no avail. I'm gonna have to do better than that, am I? Haha! Thanks again! Cheers!

you know that you don't actually need an agency to apply for SC 190 or 189. Look at the website of your chosen Australian state.

hello! yeah i've heard of that agency and they are offering me the same thing. they can loan you money and start paying once you start working. i also want to talk to the nurses that they said they have helped already.

there is something about career management service which is 4500$ and includes resume writing, interview skills training and other stuff which i think is not really necessary. i just want them to find me an employer.

im also considering 190 or 489 regional visa. for those who applied already.. which do you think is faster? i lack 5 points for experience so im thinking of using the state nomination 190 or regional sponsored 489..

anyone who wants to share their thoughts about this are welcome

Think you need experience to get a regional visa and sponsorship.

I just want to share my experience with these agencies.

A year ago during my application with AHPRA, I had received a letter stating I'am not eligible for the BP because they require "University Based Graduates." Back then I never had any ideas about how things work, and can't find any help for my problem.

I had graduated from a "college" back in the Philippines which is quite unpopular, though I passed my NLE.

I had also submitted everything to AHPRA including diploma, prc certificate, and course descriptions/syllabus.

Which left wondering what wasn't clear about my documents to lead to that reply.

They gave me an option though. To either "Withdraw" my application, or send a "Letter of Appeal".

Given all the documents given, I was wondering what was there to explain.

Then my agent suggested to withdraw my application instead and enroll in a "Bachelor of Nursing Course" AGAIN for a year here in Melbourne! But due to insufficient funds. I ended up taking a Worthless certificate course just to get here which was very wrong.

Upon arriving in Melbourne. I learned about an institute named ACFE which told me that what happened to my application was a complete mistake, that many "College" graduates from the Philippines receive their letter from AHPRA just by explaining and making a letter of appeal. Which now leaves me back start. Fortunately, I was able to lodge another application to AHPRA before my IELTS expired. My migration agent wasted 1 year of my life. So beware. Most agents think of are just making money the easy way and not providing help at all. Suggesting in their advertisements false information.

Beware Mcnally migrations.

there had been other stories circulating here as well of people having unsuccessful applications because of their doing. Resulting in wastage of time money in AUD.
