Please take the time to search the forum, CA has been mentioned many times. This thread has the link you need for fingerprint cards https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/finger-print-card-problems-261351.html

kindly visit the CA BON website and if you read it thouroughly and undertsand it it was stated there to email them to request for the fingerprint. and the CBON offfice receive first the trascript without your initial aplication on files they will discard your trasncrip since they dont know were to put it your record. i have some frined who did this becase they were late to submit the payment and the school already sent the record. they were ask to submit again the trascript.

hi... just reposting my query with regards to my ca bon application..should the bankdrafts, application form, xeroxed diploma, fingerprint cards be sent all together in one envelope in time with the tor & rle sent by my school? what if an application is denied, can i have a refund of the total fee sent to the bon?

thanks for your answers...

There is no refund. Many send documents separate from TOR. Although I went with different BON my transcripts went straight from school and I sent my own application

Any legal documents from your school and the PRC will not be accepted if they are sent by you, unless they are in a sealed envelope from that agency and then placed in the same courier envelope to be sent.

Best way for you to do it is to have it sent separately. There is no rush as there is a retrogression in place at this time.

may i just ask if it's okay for the requirements from my school to arrive at california BON in advance of my application? my school has finished my requirements, etc and they insist that i send it asap. problem is i'm only waiting for my fingerprint cards to arrive which will take 2 weeks. so, i would like to know if it's okay that my transcripts, etc will reach cali BON approx 2 weeks in advance of my application (with payment and fingerprint cards)???

thanks!

We do not recommend CA for initial licensure for a variety of reasons, the main one being that they will not issue a license to you without the SSN# and the fact that the US is under a retrogression and it is going to be more than three years before you will have a chance at a green card. The passing letter from them is only valid for three years.

Please take the time to do some reading on this forum before you do a thing with CA.

If you still want to continue with them, it is okay if the school sends things in two weeks ahead. But you also need to be aware that CA is now requiring the local license as well and not sure if you have taken that exam and have a license issued.

too late for me suzanne! :) have i known about this website iwould have not gone and apply for california.

TO MY COUNTRMEN. DO NOT APPLY TO CA IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE THE DILLEMA i'm going through right now.. if u want to know what my dillema is, read my threads.. sigh.. CA sux big time.

ysabella28: u cud have ask for fingerprint cards from me.. i have lots of it.. hehehe

There is not a problem with CA, so do not blame them for something that you were not aware of. It is not the fault of CA for requiring that one must have a SSN# and be able to work here before a license is issued. There are actually quite a few states that do not issue a license without the SSN#.

That CA does not issue a license is actually a very well known fact and has been like this for years, this is not something new at all.

sorry.... :) if i had use my internet for searching i would have encountered this website and i should have never made this mistake. my bad suzanne.. but the SS# sux big time. ;0. hehe

Having a SSN# is actually a requirement to work in the US, you cannot work without one.

And this is also a very well known fact. And has been for a very long time.

Requirements are actually becoming more strict for many of the states here, definitely not as easy to get licensed as it was in the past.
