Can anyone tell me when to expect to get EAD once you file AOS. I already have visascreen.

I am kind of sharing the same feeling. I think there might still be some visas left. So, some of us might get really lucky to get the GC soon! Hope you will get yours before the New Year's day!

Thank you, Loved!

I dont really know why, but I have a feeling that my GC is on the way :monkeydance:

To have I 140 approved , do we have to wait for current status or does it only refer to green card /?

seiko are you working already? if not try to go into specialty unit, it is so much better

Hi karolina

how r u doing?

I will be starting from dec4 on women's health(Is it same as gyn unit i am a bit comfused)

unfortunately, the December Visa Bulletin published by the Dept of State showed schedule A visas as "Unavailable" which means USCIS run out of Schedule A Visas,it would be futile to request for a status inquiry with USCIS......Unavailable also means "we have to wait" in English, in Mandarin Chinese: "Mei Yo Le", in Filipino: "Ubos na, huwag na matigas ulo" :chuckle

dont worry, IM ALSO STUCK WITH EAD....im also waiting for my wife's and my I-485 approval so that means we are all in the same Titanic boat :groupwelcome:

Although it says "mei yo le", I will not be surprise to hear someone from our group might get it pretty fast. Let's wait and see. I would rather be in the boat of Queen Mary than Titanic :)

Well, my I-485 was proceed before November 1. :lol2: ANd my status says to call them after 60 days if no decision made. So I will still submitt an inquire. As far as visa is unavailable, why do they keep proceeding AOS? What if all documents are in place, If they proceed them that means they approve them as well. Anyway, no one knows what is going on there. So, just lets wait and see.

how long is retrogression expected to last for schedule a petitions?

there are already several legislative efforts underway to provide additional immigrant visas for schedule a petitions. relief could be within the next month, or could take several months. however, it is widely accepted that legislative relief will be forthcoming. the united states has declared a national shortage of registered nurses and physical therapists, the resulting delays in filling these positions caused by retrogression will be taxing for the u.s. healthcare system and a major force for legislative resolution.

I have one question,

INS has asked me to re-submit some evidence(copies of I-94) and they have received it on 10/29.

Will they process immediately once they receive all these documents?

Pls help!
