Hi Joshuajonmical, I've heard in the past that there wasn't much turnover on the waitlist. However, I can tell you that on the FB page for the accepted pre-specialty students there are several PMHNP pre-speciality students who are still making decisions between Vandy and other schools. Perhaps you'll see some movement on the list. Good luck!

Thanks! I had emailed them to confirm that they received my wait list confirmation so they responded by email, but said they were sending my acceptance letter out so I think in most cases it would be by US mail.

Was also accepted off the waitlist for midwifery via phone call around 2:30pm PST. Unfortunately will be declining this acceptance.

Is it true that students are responsible for finding their own preceptors and clinical placements? I'm trying to decide between Vandy and MGH.
