  1. Does anyone know if CNM competes with CNM/FNP applicants or if they are considered separately?
  2. @amandy45: the questions were exactly the same as the ones shazza0001 has listed because i also interviewed for the cnm/fnp track. they also asked why i chose the specialty and would you be willing to travel for clinical rotations. after that they asked if i had any questions. hope that helps and good luck!
  3. @Barbaraleev: I read somewhere that the CNM/FNP students are part of the CNM cohort (not FNP), so I'm thinking that CNM competes with CNM/FNP. But don't quote me on that.
  4. I just realized that we could start hearing in as little as 10 or so days!!! Maybe even by 17th or 18th as I have seen from previous years on here.... insanely nervous and praying for the best!!
  5. @AnneP: I hope it's that soon! I just got off the phone interview and I was told end of this month/beginning of next month. OH wells, guess all we can do is wait and hope for the best!
  6. ACNP applicants-- have you heard anything? it has been quiet on my end and I don't know what to make of it..I am a little concerned!
  7. Hi all! I just finished my Phone interview as well, and was also told that decisions would be sent out around the end of February/beginning of March...hang in there! The faculty at Vanderbilt are so warm and welcoming. They made the interview so comfortable and smooth!
  8. Nothing here... But I think it is not quite time yet. Good luck!
  9. I interviewed on Monday and they didn't ask me anything about why I selected my specialty. Given, my personal statement is fairly passionate, but my interview lasted only 5 minutes (except for the part where I asked them questions.) They asked me three questions: One about group learning, the one about was I willing to travel around for clinicals, and how did I handle conflict. All in all, it was a pretty strange interview and I have no idea what to make of it. I interviewed 2 weeks ago at Yale (in person) and I thought it went quite well and feel pretty good about it - but this - it was just weird. Anyone else have any bizarrely brief interviews?
  10. Maybe they were behind on their schedule? They called me a few minutes late, maybe they really just needed to make a bunch of calls! I wouldn't worry Maybe this just proves that interview are a formality! What was your specialty? That could have something to do with it.
