I am a new NP-FNP, had an initial interview at a neuro surgery pediatric outpatient clinic. I was called for a shadowing experience with the PA that works there. There are 2 other candidates for the same job. Is there any preparation or anything I can do to stand out? Thanks for input

Shadowing is a great way for you to show yourself off, and it also a great opportunity to decide if the practice is right for you.
I would be prepared to jump in. Review your neuro assessment. Know the major neuro red flags. You want to demonstrate that you know what is normal and what is not, basic differentials, and that you are willing to get involved.
