by HospNP09 Jul 3, '09I am a new hospitalist NP and want to get personalized license plated on my vehicle. I am having trouble coming up with a good one. Any ideas I would appreciate. My husband kind of had a good one "Above a PA" I didn't think that was politically correct and I have PA friends. OR another one GR8NP. Any suggestions :spin:

That would be a good one if you had MD or DO as credentials. If you want a truley unique tag go down to DMV and get a standard license plate, this way you're guaranteed to be the only person in the state with that plate. - Jul 3, '09 by HospNP09Even with personalized plates in our state there can only be one person with that plate, there can be no duplicates. Actually where I am NPs can practice independently with only a collaborating MD and does not have to be on site. We don't practice under the MD license we have our own, so in a sense we are "above a PA". I have lots of NP and PA friends and don't like to get into the NP vs. PA discussion.froggg123 likes this.

And yet here you are. Absolutely priceless. I hope you get a grasp on the big picture some day........good luck in your practice. - Sep 15, '09 by David NP-CThe PA/NP debate really is silly and unprofessional. I'm a new NP and only wish I could have the knowledge of any one of the very capable PAs and NPs I know transferred to my empty brain! That does not mean I don't joke with them though!
GR8NP is good.
