I am curious to hear from an inpatient cardiology NP. I am graduating in a few weeks from an FNP program and have completed internal medicine inpatient rounds in the program. A position is avail for an inpatient cardiology NP. I know their will be differences and variations of this role...but I am looking for an overall perspective of this role from a current/previous cardiology NP. I have unfortunately heard many of the negatives ('you will be the cardiologists gopher and workhorsel'). This position is 4/10hr days a week. Thanks.
