Hello everyone, I seldom send messages to all members of the online DNP community, but see a need to pass this request on to everyone requesting your help. Please help pass the Home Care Planning Improvement Act of 2011 allowing Nurse Practitioners to write home health care orders. It is astonishing that nurses - that are experts in home care - are not allowed to practice within the scope and education of the degree and licensure. Even if you are not an NP, please sign this petition as limitations on NPs affect the entire profession.
