Frontier Nursing University Class 127

HI Everyone,

Is there anyone else out there who has applied for FNU Class 127 (June 2014 Frontier Bound)? I am a 2011 FNU graduate from the Bridge/CWHCNP program and have decided to return for my FNP and probably my DNP. I thought I would start this thread for all of us who are now in the waiting game for finding out whether or not we were accepted.

So, is anyone else in the same boat as me...waiting, waiting, waiting? I am assuming we won't know anything until April (ugh...that seems so far away!)

I got my acceptance letter on my way to my meeting this morning. Whoo hoo!! Excited to see everyone in June!

Okeefel, as a WHCNP graduate from Frontier, I can tell you they have a great program and I agree that they set you up to succeed. They are extremely supportive, everyone is so friendly, and you will get a definite sense of community from faculty, staff, and other students. I highly recommend the program. I have been practicing for almost 3 years and feel that I was well prepared when I graduated from the program.

After much careful consideration I have officially decided to accept my place in the FNP Class of 127. ~Sweetfreedomgirl thank you so much for your input today. I have chosen Frontier because it is ranked 14th in the country; has a 99% first time board pass rate;has audio or video lectures for classes; and offers a DNP. At the end of the day it's a no brainer. I can't wait to meet everyone in Kentucky in June!

For those of you who are waitlisted, don't give up hope. I have followed several threads from other classes and have seen MANY people that were wait listed accepted. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Got a reply from frontier. Turns out 127 and 128 were being collected at the same time. My application is for 128. So I stressed too soon. And I have to do it again.....good luck and congrats to the 127 class. I have 2 more months to wait. ......ugh!
