CNS wanting to be NP

I am in my last semester to be an adult-gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist at a school that does not have a dual CNS/NP degree. I have really loved my program and learning about the CNS field, but it has become obvious to me that I would much rather practice as a Nurse Practitioner. I am hoping to get some advice on the fastest/easiest way to become a NP once I am a CNS. Specifically, I know there are many dual CNS/NP programs out there, is there any chance some of my CNS clinical hours could be applied to a NP degree? Are there any programs that would specifically be good for my situation? Thanks in advance for help!

I am very interested in this topic too. I'm an adult and a peds CNS (two programs) and have been practicing with same scope of practice as NP since 2006.

Let me know if you find out anything

Have you looked at University of Southern Indiana | USI | Bachelor and Master Degrees ? They have post-master's certificate programs (not for peds sadly)
