Specializes in psych, addictions, hospice, education.

Is it outpatient or inpatient? That makes a difference.

You will probably be monitoring withdrawal symptoms, medicating for them, maybe doing admissions and discharges, and maybe running groups or talking with patients one on one.

Hi I also have an interview for a doctors office. Do you have any idea what i would do in a Dr. office setting? It all seems easy compared to LTC!

I don't think it's easier than LTC. Just a different kind of busy.

Hi Mermaidunderwater... how'd your interview go? I too have the same experience, first job out of nursing school-- sub-acute/LTC. Interviewed at a detox facility. Praying that they'll pick me : )
