    Amy Winehouse is gone.

I never listened to much of her music (only what they played when discussing how she was going downhill at various times- good voice). I knew of her because of the ongoing reports of addiction and rehab 'attempts'....didn't she leave AMA several times?

It's so sad. There have been so many losses in a few months it seems. Jeff Conaway, Mike______ from Celeb Rehab.

  6. I've noticed that stars (musicians) in the lime light have addictions starting early and 27 is the dreaded milestone that many do not live to pass... Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobaine, Jimmy Hendrix, Amy Winehouse.... the list goes on. All we can do is support and stay true to ourselves and our friends. Try to intervene when defenses are down; in the end they all knew the paths they led and chose their fates. I love them all as musicians and they live on through their music, but drugs made them too blind to see their downward spiral. No one is ever satisfied. Even when they have it all they feel as if they have nothing!

Unfortunately, addiction takes over....they chose to try drugs...but at some point, the disease takes them.
