    I need a research topic for my English Comp class. It has to stay within my disicipline of nursing. I am starting as a LPN and using it as a stepping stone. We have to make a list of 20 topics and I am having a hard time coming up with them. I have come up with nursing shortage, medical mistakes, the NCLEX, dealing with death, overcoming blood, schooling, hospital/dr office. He said the first few would come easy but the rest would be harder. He said we should ask a Professor but I haven't started nursing classes yet so I don't know one to ask.
    So if anyone has any topic ideas I would greatly appreciate it!

    You can further you topics by identifying some problems in the said topic. This is what we call the "what is" Then, you need to find the "what should be" of the situation. You need to compare the "what is" and the "what should be" of its possible sources of discrepancy. If you are able to do that, then it will lead you to a relevant research problem.
