    Hello, the hospital I am doing clinicals at has just changed protocol to change IV sites q96hrs. I am in my last class(yah!) and as a group we need to do a research project on evidence based practice. I am searching trying to find rational but I'm not finding specific data confirming 96hrs over 72 hours. Can anybody help me out? Thank you for your time. God Bless!

    when you do your searches, use the noun "rationale" instead of the adjective "rational." that will help. also, have you looked at the intravenous therapy nursing certification, associations, and literature?
